Freemasonry is often regarded as one of the oldest known fraternities and an ancient school of philosophy dedicated to moral improvement. As a brotherhood, we aim to elevate our thinking through the study and application of ancient philosophical wisdom. Through our lessons, a Freemason will become a better member in all aspects of society.
The short answer is a resounding NO… Freemasonry requires a man to believe in a supreme being before accepting his petition. Freemasonry accepts men of many faiths and forbids religious debates inside of the lodge. Freemasonry offers no plan of salvation and we insist that the fraternity does not impede on the religious duties of our members.
We do not solicit membership. The decision to enter Freemasonry is your decision alone and should only be made after diligent contemplation. A man wishing to study our ancient teachings must ask a Freemason that he knows personally to recommend him to the fraternity. If you do not know a mason you may contact us directly to learn more.
