In the heart of East Tennessee's breathtaking scenery, we are situated between the iconic Great Smokey Mountains and the Cumberland Plateau at 4429 Holston Drive. Our Knoxville location is steeped in rich heritage as the home of the Tennessee Volunteers and the legacy of General Knox. Burlington Lodge Number 763 is chartered under the Grand Lodge of Tennessee of Free and Accepted Masons. Our very presence in Knoxville echoes the Tennessee Tristar, symbolizing unity, peace and prosperity.
Our mission is to strengthen the bonds between our members and improve ourselves through moral development.
At Burlington Lodge, we strive to develop both gentlemen and leaders as we carry the vision of our ancient brethren into the future and at the same time, preserve the foundation of Freemasonry.
Our centuries-old teachings will be as relevant in the future, as they are today. We are intentional with our noble level of conduct and continuing education to ensure we reflect the prestige of Freemasonry for future generations.
There is no better manner in which we pay respect to our fraternity, ensuring that only the most prepared men ask to join and preserve the light of Freemasonry for future generations.
The foundation of Freemasonry begins here however, there are many branches of Freemasonry that one may travel such as the Shriners, Scottish Rite, York Rite, Grotto and the Tennessee Lodge of Research, to name a few. To learn more about the different appending bodies and in depth FAQS about Freemasonry, visit the Grand Lodge of Tennessee website below.
